Milestone End-of-Cours Testing Spring 2026
Overview
The Georgia Milestones Assessment System includes four end-of-course assessments that must be completed by Georgia high school students for validation of course credit and as part of their grade for the corresponding course. These tests are very important for Lambert students, as this data is an essential piece in determining our school’s effectiveness as well as our students’ readiness for their postsecondary pursuits.
Testing will take place the week of May 4–8, 2026, with make-up tests administered the following week. The week will be a virtual week. Testing will begin promptly at 8:25 a.m. each day. All LHS students are expected to come to school to take their scheduled EOC during their assigned testing time.

Testing Schedule
Milestones EOC tests will be administered May 4–8, 2026. This is a virtual week.
All students will be expected to arrive at their testing room promptly at 8:25 a.m. Students will be notified of their testing room during the week before testing.
Testing will take place in the morning at 8:25 a.m., primarily in the 2800 and 2900 hallways. Students should pay close attention to the assignment provided by their teacher and posted in the hallways to ensure they attend the correct session. Students will not be allowed to change their test assignment.
- May 4, 2026 – Algebra The Algebra End-of-Course assessment is required for all students enrolled in Algebra at Lambert or through Dual Enrollment, GAVS, or FVA. This test is administered in two parts. Information about accessing study guides is available here.
- May 5–6, 2026 – Literature Composition II (Sections 1 and 2-3) The Literature Composition II End-of-Course assessment is required for all students enrolled in Literature Composition II or AP Literature Composition II. This also includes all Lambert students enrolled in Literature Composition II through GAVS or FVA. A student’s score on this test will not count as 10% of their grade on their Lambert transcript for the 2025-2026 school year. This test is administered in three parts: Section 1 on Tuesday, May 5, and Sections 2-3 on Wednesday, May 6.
- May 7, 2026 – Biology The Biology End-of-Course assessment is required for all students enrolled in Biology or AP Biology for initial Biology credit at Lambert or through Dual Enrollment, GAVS, or FVA. A student’s score on this test will count as 10% of their grade on their Lambert transcript. This test is administered in two parts.
- May 8, 2026 – US History The US History End-of-Course assessment is required for all students enrolled in US History at Lambert or through GAVS or FVA. Students who are enrolled in AP US History or completing the course through Dual Enrollment are not required to take the EOC. A student’s score on this test will count as 10% of their grade on their Lambert transcript. This test is administered in two parts.

Transportation
All bus transportation will run at normal scheduled times. It is imperative that all students arrive at school on time, especially on days they have scheduled tests.
EOC students planning to drive to school will be dropped off in front of the building and enter using the main entrance. All students planning to take an AP exam will park in the gym lot and enter the building on the gym side.
Students will have access to lunch in the cafeteria during their regularly scheduled lunch period. Once dismissed from testing, they can be checked out or remain in the cafeteria until end-of-day dismissal.
Approximate test dismissal times:
- Monday, May 4 (Algebra): 10:45–11:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, May 5 (Lit Comp II): 10:00–10:15 a.m.
- Wednesday, May 6 (Lit Comp II): 10:45–11:00 a.m.
- Thursday, May 7 (Biology): 10:00–10:15 a.m.
- Friday, May 8 (US History): 10:00–10:15 a.m.
What to Bring
Students should bring two #2 pencils each day of testing.
Students may bring book bags and phones, but these items must be left in the hallway during testing and will not be allowed in the testing room. No electronics will be permitted in the secure testing environment.
There is no need to bring a calculator to testing. Calculators will be provided, and all students will have access to the built-in calculator in the Algebra test.
Students may bring a book to read when they have finished testing, provided the book is not related to the content of the test. They should also bring classwork or homework that is not related to the test content.
What to Expect During Testing
All students will test in a Lambert classroom in a quiet, controlled environment. Tests will be administered by certified teachers.
Tests are completed on school Chromebooks using the DRC application. Students will be provided with test tickets and scratch paper.
All accommodations will be provided in accordance with students’ IEP, 504, or TPC plans.
All students will be expected to conduct themselves with integrity and respect during the testing process. Academic dishonesty and poor behavior will not be tolerated.
Typical testing lengths and maximum times:
Algebra I: Sections 1 and 2 typically take 30–50 minutes per section, with a maximum testing time of 65 minutes per section.
Biology: Sections 1 and 2 typically take 20–30 minutes per section, with a maximum testing time of 40 minutes per section.
Literature & Composition II: Section 1 typically takes 45–65 minutes (max 90 minutes). Sections 2 and 3 typically take 40–60 minutes per section (max 80 minutes per section).
US History: Sections 1 and 2 typically take 15–25 minutes per section, with a maximum testing time of 35 minutes per section.
