If you are considering applying for an Out of District (OOD) application for your Rising 9th grader to attend high school at a location other than the one you are districted for, please be sure to thoroughly read the rules and guidelines outlined on the FCS website HERE.
OOD Requests will be marked ineligible if you request a pathway offered at your districted
school. For instance, the Healthcare Cluster is now offered at all high schools, so a request to out-of-district from South Forsyth High School to Lambert High School for the Healthcare Pathway is an ineligible request. For a list of CTAE Pathways Availability at each school, please click HERE.
Finally, if you have or plan to submit an OOD Request for the Food and Nutrition Pathway at Lambert High School, due to limited availability/seats, Lambert administration will be conducting a lottery after 4:00 P.M. on November 14. Thus, do not expect word of your approval or denial until then, and be sure to submit your request by November 14 to be a part of the lottery. A detailed chart of programs and OOD eligibility by school can be found HERE.
