Our purpose is to teach students important skills needed in the professional world through monthly presentations, leadership forums, and service projects.

Club Description: The purpose of AAPI is to connect Asian American and Pacific Islanders together (although anyone can tag along), because Lambert High school has a large population of Asians. The club will bring more cultural awareness and representation to Lambert’s already diverse community. Students will gain a deeper understanding of different heritages, histories, and challenges these groups face, fostering empathy and inclusivity on campus. AAPI wants to connect to smaller Asian American/Pacific Islander communities/businesses. We want to share the word of how these businesses started and what they have struggled with in the past due to discrimination or even financial problems. Additionally, we want to fundraise from these small businesses, gaining a small percentage of the profits. NONE of the profits we receive are being kept by our club, but instead donated back to the national AAPI Club. We are here to advocate for those who cannot.

Blessings in a Backpack

Club Description: Blessings in a Backpack (Chapter 1305) is a Lambert-based organization that provides weekend food to elementary/middle school students in the Federal Free & Reduced Meal Program in all of Forsyth County. Lambert High School is the only Blessings in a Backpack servicing the Forsyth County Schools area. Our team meets every Friday morning to pack individual bags for students in the program to take home for the weekend. $175 feeds one child in the program for an entire 38-week school year. 100% of the food and money collected will be used to fill backpacks for students in our county. This school year we are currently feeding over 532 elementary and middle school students at 21 Forsyth County Schools. Lambert leads by example in the quest to end hunger each weekend for some of our own in our backyard. It is through your efforts and generous donations of both time, product and money that we succeed together.

Club Description: The purpose of the Lambert High School Chess Club is to provide students with opportunities to learn, practice, and enjoy the game of chess in a supportive environment. The club seeks to:

In addition, the Chess Club strives to create an inclusive space where students of all skill levels, whether beginners or advanced players, can develop their abilities. Club Description: The Computer Science club is a place for students passionate in all kinds of computer science fields as well as those interested in learning more about computer science to get together, make friends, win prizes, and learn new things. We run a variety of programs, including workshops, Hack Club “you ship we ship” programs, in which participants are given prizes in return for making a project (i.e. Boba for making a website), American Computer Science League (ACSL) competition teams, hackathons, and more!

Club Description: The Cybersecurity Club was created to address the lack of cybersecurity representation in the school's activities and provide students with opportunities to gain certifications and compete in cybersecurity competitions. The club aims to teach students everything they need to know to obtain the CompTIA Security+ Certification, an industry-standard certification that can lead to careers in systems administration. Members can also participate in competitions such as the CyberPatriot competition where they work in teams to solve cybersecurity challenges.

Club Description: The EduBud Lambert Chapter is a student-led club dedicated to bridging educational gaps by pairing high school mentors with elementary and middle school students who may lack access to extra academic support. Club Description: The equestrian team is a competitive horse riding team that competes with local schools in Forsyth County, as well as other schools in the Southeast Region of Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. Riders compete in 5 shows throughout the season that runs from September through January. The team consists of riders from 4th grade up to seniors in high school, with two teams: Middle and High school. Our team practices at Blue Springs Farm in Ballground with many days and times available to practice. Club Description: Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education in public and private schools. FCCLA offers intra-curricular resources and opportunities for students to pursue careers that support families. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

In the fall, we play matches against each other high school in Forsyth County. The season culminates in the High School National Championship Tournament in Atlanta where over 300 teams from across the country play each other.

Club Description: The VT Seva Atlanta club is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. VT Seva stands for Volunteering Together for Seva. Seva means Service. VT Seva has an active presence in more than 25 branches across the USA and does more than 300 service activities, serving local communities with active youth leadership and participation.

Its purpose is to empower youth through participation in volunteer work and philanthropy projects. Volunteers learn how to plan, develop, and implement various projects that benefit our community as a whole.

The projects which the club will undertake will be Atlanta heart walk, helping special need kids (thank-you cards), Eco-friendly projects (adopting a road, planting trees, recycling), helping the needy (Atlanta Food Bank, Meals By Grace), tutoring younger kids, assisting in organizing blood donation camps, helping at local libraries, volunteering in health camps,
serving senior citizens, and participating in projects like Habitat for Humanity, Hands On Atlanta, Toys for Tots, etc. Club meetings will be every month, and minutes will be taken of the meeting proceedings.

This club will aid Lambert (LHS) students in enhancing their leadership skills, public speaking, and teamwork. It will also ingrain service attitude, and values like kindness, integrity, responsibility, and accountability, which help in all-round development of the students.
