Title:  FIRST Robotics Competition

 

Lambda or Team 9477 is Lambert High School’s FIRST Robotics Competition team which was established in 2024. We give students opportunities to experience real world engineering through competitive robotics.

 

Students learn how to use specialized machinery (CNC Machine, laser cutter, etc.) as well as other skills such as programming, metalwork, and electric circuitry, just to name a few. We currently have 40 members simultaneously working in 5 different subgroups: Programming, Mechanical, Electrical, Outreach/Fundraising, and Scouting.

 

This year they won the Rookie All-Star Award and Rookie Inspiration Award at District Competitions. At the District Championships, they won the Rookie All-Star Award, sending them to the World Championships in Houston, Texas.
