Starting in Summer 2025, with the class of 2028, Forsyth County Schools is limiting the number of outside courses that can be added to a student transcript to 1 credit (1.0 or .5/.5) per semester.
Only FVA and/or GAVS credits will be accepted.

What does this mean for Lambert students?
- All students should think carefully before requesting a course on GAVS or FVA outside of their schedule.
- Parents MUST complete the GAVS Intent to Participate Form on Infinite Campus Parent Portal before GAVS course requests can be processed.
- Lambert is encouraging all students to take either 0 or 1 online credits per semester, but the policy will only be enforced for the class of 2028 and beyond.
- The transcript course addition process will continue to be important.
- Lambert Counselors will be carefully reviewing request to make sure all choices are in the best interest of the student.
